XL Financial Services has won the Small Business Challenge 2009 competition, earning themselves a complete Microsoft IT makeover for their organisation.
The company saw off stiff competition from four other small businesses last week and were judged to have made the biggest difference to their company.
XL used their Windows Vista laptop to revolutionise their company. Managing director Mark Davis used their PC to cut costs and save hundreds of miles in return visits to save their business money, and leave time for visiting and finding new customers.
They will receive four new laptops, six Windows Vista licenses for their existing machines and £2000 of specialist support.
It's not just XL Financial Services which is to benefit from the Microsoft Makeover. Homeless charity Nomad Homeless Advice and Support were announced runners up, and will win seven brand new Windows Vista laptops to carry on the great work with people threatened with homelessness.
